Marko Milenković, viola

Born in 1992 in Cuprija, Serbia, where he took his first violin lesson at the the age of 6 at the school for highly gifted youth in his home town.
In the age of 14, Marko started his specialization of the Viola under the guidance of Prof. Tomislav Milosević. This new path was immediately followed by him winning many national and international prizes and competitions.
In 2009 he began his studies in the Mozarteum University in Salzburg in the class of Prof. Thomas Riebl.
Marko took part in master classes of world renowned artists such as Hartmuth Rohde, Hatto Beyerle and Tatjana Masurenko as well as from members of the Borodin Quartet and the Hagen Quartet.
Marko is invited to perform regularly chamber music concert with, among the rest, artists such as Sergio Azzolini, Vittorio Ghielmi, Thomas Riebl and Klara Flieder.
Since 2011 he is a guest principal violist of the Salzburg Chamber Soloists and the Kammerakademie Neuss am Rhein. Since 2015 he is the second principal violist of the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra and since 2017, a member of the AMAR QUARTET.
